This piece was a finalist in the Lethbridge Small Scale 20000 Art Prize 2024. Gritty eucalyptus charcoal sourced from Kelly’s family fire pit and quality acrylic transform into a meandering, prostrate strawberry plant which is a representation of regenerative produce reclaiming a forgotten green space. Kelly repurposed hand-crafted, recycled paper created by her daughter in this piece, resulting in an object of beauty.
